Safe Trading Guidelines
Meet in public campus areas
Choose well-lit, busy spots such as the library, canteen, or main foyer. Avoid isolated car parks or private rooms for first meetups.
Inspect before you pay
Check the item in person before handing over cash or sending Revolut. For favours, agree the task and price clearly before anyone starts.
Never send money in advance
Do not pay deposits, shipping fees, or “holding” fees to strangers. Legitimate campus trades settle when you meet.
Keep a record
Use the seller or requester’s preferred contact method so you have a written trail of what was agreed. If something feels off, walk away and report the listing.
Ratings and reports
After a completed favour or sold item, leave a fair 5-star review so others know who is reliable. If a listing or task looks like spam, a scam, or something inappropriate, use Report on the card. Reports go to admins for review and help keep the community clean.
